Stopped by on the way home to grab a side of mac and cheese to go with my meal at home. The mac and cheese was actually pretty good. Nice and creamy and had some paprika on top. Will definitely revisit! Update 09/2023: Went back to try out their chicken. I ordered the 2 piece kids meal and the kitchen blessed me with an extra piece of chicken. The chicken had the perfect amount of spice! I threw it in the air fryer for an extra crisp, but it was still good without the extra cooking time. Definitely my new go to spot for chicken now. Of course as always mac and cheese was good!
This was a recommendation from one of the workers at the Kennesaw depot. I ordered a 2pc dark with okra and Mac n cheese. Hubby got a 2pc white with fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken was good and hot and it was spicy Mac n cheese was good as was the okra. Service was a bit slow but not real bad. Prices . We enjoyed our meal. I would visit again, if I'm ever in that area.
It's a casual place, but the chicken is cooked fresh and it's SO good! I highly recommend the potato salad too. It's not bland and is making my mouth water just remembering our meal yesterday. Devion served us and he was basically running the whole place himself. He was awesome, the food was awesome, and we'll definitely be back!
One of the best chicken places you could possibly find anywhere. The fried chicken there is spectacular. Excellent service a fun place to sit and hang out and enjoy. They are also way above average for similar and comparable places. I highly recommend Gus’s Not far from KSU
I visited for the first time today and I was NOT disappointed. Derek our server was so kind, knowledgeable and attentive. It's been a long time since I've experienced that level of service. It felt like instant family. The food was hot and delicious. I had the 4 Wing special. The chicken was so well seasoned. I couldn't stop eating it. I'm not sure of everyone's title that worked there, but they came over to check on us and we had great conversations. The food was amazing and service was even better. Im excited to return. The one thing I will add though is that my young daughter had chicken tenders and she said they were too spicy. I should've asked if they would have the spicy seasoning as well. But I tired them and loved them because I love spice. Just something to keep in mind if you take children with you.
Run don't walk this is the best fried chicken you'll find, every time I'm close to a Gus's I have to stop. I've been to several locations and this one is consistent. You can tell Andre the managing partner and chef take pride and producing a great product. Both he and the counter person we're friendly and very hospitable. Go check them out.
Good lord!!! The food was so delicious!! World famous is an understatement. Maybe it was the fact we went in the last 30 minutes and the restaurant was empty but the chicken was so amazing Our server was so nice and the epitome of southern hospitality. The fried okra is the best I’ve ever had.
